Ten months on, we’ve just hit 325,000 views. We’ve given our loyal readers 427 posts which spell out – in clear and simple terms – the economic and environmental nonsense that is wind power – and the harm caused to communities around the world by giant fans.
We’ve picked up 990 followers around the world, including a bunch of canny Scots, Canadians, Americans, English, Welsh, Irish, Cornish, Danes, Germans and plenty from Downunder. Those that watch us include lots of political staffers, journos and, of course, the Greentard bloggers like – The Climate Speculator, yes2ruining-us and ruin-economy. Wind industry insiders tell us that wind weasels feel dirty looking at STT – but they just can’t help themselves – STT has – apparently – become “porn” for the wind industry.
One of the things that drives the ecofascist mad is the fact that STT is anonymous. True it is that you won’t find “selfies” of STT’s people being posted daily on Twitter – we’ll leave that modern take on narcissism to Rogan Joshi and Lee Ewebank. Even if the Twitter accounts these Gen-Y greentards use are fake and designed as “spoilers” to what STT and others are presenting (ie the facts).
Who writes the posts on STT isn’t important – it’s what we report that matters. Next time you pick up a copy of The Economist see if you can find reference to the identity of its editor or the authors of any of its articles, including weekly opinion pieces like Bagehot and Lexington. The Economist works on the principle – and a sound one in our view – that the identity of the scribe is simply irrelevant – it’s the facts that matter.
If the wind industry has a case to put – then it should have no trouble dealing with the facts that we toss up on these pages – of course, it doesn’t and it can’t.
We don’t consider ourselves journalists – we are simply reporting on a growing National and International backlash against the greatest economic and environmental fraud ever committed.
We are not here to debate the wind industry – we are here to destroy it.
This is not a forum for ecofascists like Monstrous Hypocrite Dave Clarke. You won’t see the hate-filled diatribes these boys tossup on their own sites – you know – pious manifestos based on Green-Stalinism.
No, this is a sanctuary where the people who have been tragically impacted by – or who are fighting the threat of – giant industrial wind turbines can speak openly and freely – and without fear of vilification or ridicule.
We think compassion and empathy far greater virtues than self-righteous condescension. If it’s the latter you’re looking for – try ruin-economy and yes2ruining-us.
Whatever “social licence” the wind industry might have had in this Country disappeared long ago. Communities are fighting back to protect themselves, their farms, their businesses and their families from the monstrous tyranny that is big wind.
Welfare groups have just cottoned on to the fact that power prices are being driven to obscene levels as a result of the great wind power fraud – hitting the poorest and most vulnerable in society the hardest. Expect to hear more from these groups as they call for an end to the costly and economically unsustainable Renewable Energy Target.
The spin doctors that run interference for wind weasels are clearly suffering from Credibility, Relevance & Ubiquity Deficiency (CRUD) Syndrome.
STT watched the recent ABC Victoria 7.30 piece on the wind industry where – in answer to the proven adverse health effects caused by low-frequency noise from giant industrial wind turbines – surprise, surprise – they trot out a bloke who has no medical or acoustic engineering qualifications and who has never once bothered to visit – let alone speak to – the people he ridicules and vilifies.
Although, apparently, if you are looking for someone to fill you in about tobacco advertising – he’s just the boy. Simon – reasonable people in this Country stopped listening long ago. And the Victoria Health Department document referred to has been thoroughly canned by top acousticians, including Professor Colin Hansen and Alec Salt.

Love this site, and can I suggest that there should be a register of farmers who let the wind industry on their land.
That way we could all know who not to purchase anything from, whether is be at the saleyards, or any other produce they produce.

I notice too the wind spin industry is doing a Snow Job on Snowtown in South Australia, the location of a local wind factory and the infamous ‘bodies in the barrels’ murder saga, the macabre now a source of tourist income for the town.
Except now the bodies no longer hidden in the barrels. The real bodies are buried in the wind industry acoustic compliance data, the full details the wind perpetrators world wide refuse to release. At the same time the industry destroys with impunity neighbours health and the ability to leave peacefully in their homes. The human bodies have long been removed from the barrels that were in the local Snowtown bank. But the wind industry know too well where their own bodies are buried in the acoustic and compliance data they keep well hidden. But their time is running out. Snowy is sniffing it out. They can run but they can’t hide.
It’s long overdue for this crime and corruption to be investigated by the police, and a Royal Commision to get to the bottom of this travesty.
The stench from the windies barrels is so overpowering not even their fans can blow it away.

Infrasound and Low Frequency Noise is real. The notion that there is a nocebo effect is utter crap. I am surrounded by Industrial Noise that is driving me to the point of tears.

I even enjoy it more when I know how much this website has pissed off all those lying cheating scheming scumbuckets who think its ok to lob a turbine up next to your home or land. Thanks STT for raising the profile of the impact of industrial noise on residents and slamming that stupid ‘nocebo’ idea. We are sick of being dismissed by people who should care about us and by those in power who are meant to be protecting our well being.
STT, thank you and take a bow. The industry’s contempt and disregard for rural people the world over is plain for all to see. Even GAIA and Greens founder, James Lovelock, is appalled.
The independent scientific evidence, some of it from over 25 years ago, is slowly but surely emerging of the acoustic mechanisms causing adverse health impacts on real people. Informed economic and energy output analyses prove this industry to be neither environmentally or economically sustainable.
Like the Titanic, the wind industry have hit their iceberg. The nouveau Greens are singing on the deck and their Captains are in denial. The water is going to be very cold.

Very good STT – this site is showing up the wind industry for what it is, a fraud big time. Every time the wind weasels and greentards can’t find anything to say, they trot out their little yapper (Chapman) on a leash to say a bit of crap and then take him back to his kennel, as he won’t go to the places where the health problems are. That is where the best science is, where the people are suffering from the noise from the wind turbines.
