Stop These Things’ Weekly Round Up: 28 June 2026

A lie might get halfway around the world before the truth can get its trousers on, but the truth eventually catches up. Which is why the Climate Industrial Complex is on the ropes.

Growing hostility to weather-driven power rationing and crushing power bills is just the beginning.

The great wind and solar fraud sit at the heart of the net-zero carbon dioxide emissions scam. Now that the proles have made the (very obvious) connection between power rationing, rocketing power prices and heavily subsidised and chaotically delivered wind and solar, the truth has overtaken the lies and myth upon which the scam was built.

Which brings us to this week’s roundup

Dr Lars Schernikau reports that the first great lie – that wind and solar would complement each other and provide around-the-clock power – gave way to another – that adding insanely costly lithium-ion batteries – would resolve wind and solar’s hopeless intermittency. In this elegantly drafted article, Dr Schernikau reaches the rather obvious conclusion that batteries provide no solution, at all.

Can solar and wind + batteries really provide 24/7/365 electricity?

In the first post from the team from Jo Nova, right on cue, a string of dead calm nights in Australia’s wind and solar capital, South Australia provided a glaring example of precisely what is described in Dr Schernikau’s article. Namely, Australia’s largest giant battery is no match for the weather.

The team from Jo Nova go on to demonstrate that wind and solar are the very definition of utter chaos. Incapable of producing power when it’s needed most, but equally capable of producing oodles of electricity when there is simply no market for it.

This is a wonderful new tool from Richard Lyon that is chock full of drill-down data, sources and methodology. It is also continuously updated. It gives Brits a running daily tally of the insane costs of their subsidised wind and solar obsession. Well worth a look.

Eric Worrall picks up on the gross inequity caused by the grand wind and solar ‘transition’. In Australia, the poorest can no longer afford power and many simply cannot afford to eat.

Kenneth Richard uses simple arithmetic to point out how utterly pointless wind and solar really are. Lucky to provide meaningful power a third of the time, wind and solar spend most of their time at ease.

We closeout with pics and a video of the recent blade liberation event at Lal Lal in Victoria, Australia.  The wind cult blathered about this being a rare and unusual event (as usual). STT followers know otherwise.

Stay tuned, STT will be back next week with more.

Here’s another ‘rare and unusual’ event …

  1. The information about the book of Lars was helpful. Maybe my book “Windmania -The Windmania and it’s climatic consequences” could be of interest for you.
