Donald Trump Declares ‘War’ … on Wind Turbines

Donald Trump has declared ‘war’ even before his 20 January Inauguration.

No, it’s not a pending nuclear conflagration that’s in the offing; just the end of the wind industry as the world has known and grown to suffer it.

Trump Says He’s ‘Personally Offended’ By ‘Awful’ Wind Turbines

U.S. President-elect Donald Trump told British politicians he hates “awful” wind turbines in Scotland because he believes they “sully” the country’s beauty, according to BBC News.

Trump allegedly told Nigel Farage and Andy Wigmore, both of whom were leaders of the Brexit movement, that he’s “personally offended” by wind turbines.

“He has got a bugbear – he doesn’t like wind farms at all,” Wigmore told BBC News. Trump allegedly told him “when I look out of my window and I see these windmills, it offends me. You’ve got to do something about these windmills. Let’s put them offshore, why spoil the beautiful countryside?’”

Trump has long fought against a proposed new wind farm he says will spoil the view of a nearby luxury golf resort he owns. Trump has publicly stated that he will stop development at the resort if the wind farm project is built. The planned wind turbines will be about two miles from the course.

Trump began legal challenges to the wind farm more than two years ago, but lost the legal battle in a unanimous decision. However, the president-elect has threatened to take his lawsuit to European courts.

Local environmental groups have also objected to the planned wind farm because of its likeliness to kill local birds. The company behind the wind farm claims that it would produce enough electricity to power 68,000 U.K. households over a year.

Polls estimate that largely due to subsidies for wind power and other green energy, electricity is so expensive in the U.K. that 38 percent of households are cutting back essential purchases, like food, to pay for high energy bills. Another 59 percent of homes are worried about how they are going to pay energy bills.

Green energy subsidies regularly exceed spending caps and account for roughly 7 percent of British energy bills, according to study released in July by the British government.

  1. *Smog Warning Days have been rare for decades in N. American.
*Yes, our air is clean and longevity rates increase every year.
*Fracking’s abundance ensures long term energy.
*Wind and solar are Y2K jokes in history.

  2. Even if there is a serious impact on future industrial scale wind turbine projects, there is such a mess to clean up now.
All people whose health has been harmed must be protected immediately by turning off the turbines. People whose property values have been impacted will benefit from having the turbines turned off. All communities that have been ruined by these projects need to force whoever is responsible for the dismantling and recycling of these turbines to do so as quickly as possible. They must be forced legally to do this. It will take real leadership.

The Obama cronies and Al Gore with his propaganda on climate change/global warming is about to stop, hopefully. I am in Henry County Indiana and there are currently FOUR…yes 4….wind companies, attempting to create Industrial Wind Factories all over this county. It is nothing but a land grab for China and other foreign governments. The wind companies will destroy our rural areas, destroy property values, destroy wildlife, destroy our very well being, destroy families and friendships. Soon after the destruction begins, the wind companies go bankrupt and sell to foreign countries, if they are not already owned by one. Farmers who were ignorant and greedy, and signed leases with these companies, will loose their land or have liens filed against them as others have had done to them. This has been torture in Indiana, fighting these money grubbing companies for months and in some cases years. Officials that are supposed to represent the citizens, not only here in Henry County Indiana, but in surrounding counties that are now being invaded, are seeing nothing but $$$$$ for personal gain. What fools, they don’t realize once the turbines are up and destroying everything around them, the $$$$ is no longer there. Fact is, it never was to begin with. I am confident that President Trump is more than qualified to recognize a scam of this magnitude, that not only has harmed people in the USA, but people all over the world. Go President Trump!

7 Percent increase in electricity bills! Closer to 70% (only more). Truth is now a very rare commodity in the western world of so called educated and savy citizens – perpetrators of lies get away with it because too many people are isolated from grass root reality. Trump is connected to reality whether the smart Alec left like it or not.

  6. At least one world leader has got a brain not sloppy grey mater in their heads. Donald Trump come and knock some sense into our PM Turdbull.

  7. Michael Crawford says:

This misses the core reason Trump will kill parasite power. Making America industrially great again is absolutely central to what he wants to achieve as President, and that depends on fully exploiting America’s wealth of fossil fuels.

Unleashing those fuels for cheap energy means eliminating most of the Obama regs that hamstrung them and eliminating subsidies and mandates for parasite power that drive up energy prices.

As a resort owner he may hate their appearance and not be able to do a lot about it. As President he hates the way that expensive power creates a disadvantage for the US competing with China and other countries not saddled with it — and he will be able to do a huge amount about it. There will soon be a lot of windmills surplus to requirements in the US.
