Desperation is a stinky cologne, and it’s especially pungent among crony capitalists watching the great wind and solar scam crumble before their very eyes and their ‘investments’ evaporate.
The smart money left the building long ago. The only vestige of hope for short-term survival rests on governments still brazen enough to use money gouged from taxpayers to prop up what remains.
In the US, those eager rent seekers who previously backed insanely expensive offshore wind factories, are directing their cash to gas and other meaningful sources of reliable power production. But, elsewhere, there are governments who are clearly ready to go down with a sinking ship.
Which brings us to this week’s roundup.
