The offshore wind industry is facing wholesale slaughter. Donald Trump has turned the tables on the offshore wind scam, which has been merrily slaughtering whales, dolphins and more with complete impunity. Now it’s the offshore wind scammers who face brutal annihilation.
Dozens of planned projects, involving thousands of turbines have been shelved. The effect on turbine manufacturers and construction outfits is delightfully devastating; many face an inevitable financial ruin. Oh dear, how sad, never mind.

Leslie Eastman reports on the result of a Federal Court decision, which endorsed President Trump’s executive order signed in January to halt new or renewed offshore wind leases. The judgment allows the Trump administration to revoke federal permits – which, in the case in question, had been gained because the wind power outfit had lied about the destructive environmental harm these things cause offshore.
