Stop These Things’ Weekly Round Up: 28 December 2025

When power unites with passion, the destruction of the US wind industry is what you get. President Donald J Trump has the power and hates these things with a passion. The knock-on effect across the globe – for wind power outfits, construction companies and turbine makers – has been utterly devastating. Their share prices have taken a beating and investors in, what was, the greatest scam of all time, are running a mile.

If 2025 wasn’t their worst year, 2026 most surely will be.

Which brings us to this week’s roundup.

First up we report on the announcement by the US Department of the Interior that Donald Trump has paused all offshore leases, with immediate effect. Thousands of these things are wrecking what appears on east coast radar systems, leaving America vulnerable to aerial attack. Pete Hegseth – Secretary of War – is evidently more concerned about America’s defence than lining the pockets of crony capitalists.

Meanwhile, in the Land Downunder, unchecked insanity continues apace. As the team from Jo Nova reports, our current Green/Labor Alliance is set to squander a lazy $7 billion on a “home battery” scam – representing one of the largest wealth transfers from working stiffs to the smug middle-class in history.

Paul Driessen contrasts the rejection of the wind and solar scam in the US, with its continued suicidal embrace across France and Germany, where thousands of acres of farmland are being turned over to solar panels, to produce electricity less than 25% of the time – cloud cover permitting.

Carl Deconinck reports on how – surprise, surprise – the models used by wind power outfits and their cronies massively overstate their predicted output. No doubt aimed at garnering the license to steal and the subsidies from the unwitting taxpayer and power consumer.

Eric Worrall reports, with astonishment, on California’s decision to keep its largest nuclear power plant open for another 5 years. Apparently, California’s Climate Industrial Complex has no faith in their claims about the grand wind and solar transition – and plenty to fear if the whole charade collapses.

David Wojick reports on a lawsuit where Wyoming’s Albanese County Conservancy is using Freedom of Information legislation to uncover the magnitude of the wind industry’s wanton slaughter of America’s majestic Eagles, an action which the US Fish and Wildlife Service is resisting, for very obvious reasons.
