Stop These Things’ Weekly Round Up: 14 September 2025

The wind and solar ‘industries’ were founded on myth, built on lies and run on subsidies. As the myth unravels, the lies revealed and the subsidies run out, investors are running for the hills. And the bloodbath unfolding in the US is as gory as they come. Which brings us to this week’s roundup

In this piece, Allen Brooks details the imminent financial collapse of Ørsted, the Danish offshore wind power outfit, whose fortunes have run aground – thanks to President Donald Trump’s attack on the greatest scam in history.

The team from Jo Nova detail how – when it comes to claims about running on nothing but sunshine and breezes – talk is cheap. And so it is, as Australia’s biggest mining operation, BHP scraps utterly delusional wind and solar projects that were meant to power their mining operations across WA.

Enery bad boys, Isaac Orr and Mitch Rolling also rain on the wind and sun cult’s parade, with this report on how Mitsubishi is doubling its capacity to build gas turbines of the kind that actually power the world when the wind drops and the sun sets, every single day.

  1. How will 260 ft long wind turbine blades be delivered by lorry to remote areas of rural Wales served by winding 10 ft wide rural roads?

1000 wind turbines would need 3000 blades over 220 feet long!! Plus huge 187 ft stancheon sections

for wind turbines 560 ft to nacelle!!

  2. Greetings from Wales, UK !

About a week ago, the blades fell off a 2 year old 250 ft wind turbine at the Aviva office in Perth, Scotland. If it happened in day-time, people could have been killed. Check the report in Scotland’s Daily Record” newspaper.

Around 1000 wind turbines averaging 750 ft high are planned on land in Wales…which is only 8015 sq miles in area. Some of them will be 820 ft , with 260 ft blades. If a blade flies off a 820 ft monster at speed , it could be thrown half a mile!! At 260 ft long, it will be akin to a plane crash !!

Write to the WESTERN MAIL newspaper in Cardiff, Wales to stop these things, please. They are absolute MONSTERS at 820 ft high! Eiffel Tower is only 1050 ft including antenna !!

Their diameters are 520 feet…which equals height of Blackpool Tower!!
