onshore wind in planning for Wales…..which is only 8015 square miles in area?!
5000MW = 1000 x 5MW wind turbines…..which must be around 700 feet tall!
There are certainly Planning Application by Scotland’s Bute Energy and Irish Govt owned Coriolis,
for 820 ft wind turbines in Wales, UK……..to power England….not Wales!
An 820 ft wind turbine has 260 ft blades.
So the diameter….520 ft …..equals height of Blackpool Tower !! How crazy is that?
