Wiping out entire forest habitats is all part of our ‘inevitable’ transition to a wind powered future. Across Germany, millions of acres of forest have been clear-felled and great swathes cut through others, to allow some 29,000 of these things to be speared across Deutschland.
The same is happening in the Green Mountain State, Vermont, where pristine hills and mountains are being bulldozed and dynamited in order to ‘save’ the planet.
Where phony eco-warriors jump for joy, real environmentalists are left to weep.

Probably the most disturbing aspect of wind energy is its destructive impact the green energy source has on the environment, never mind its sporadic supply, adverse health impacts and high costs.
As Germany ignored all warnings about wind energy’s shortcomings and its threats, government officials charged ahead blindly and obstinately, without a plan, into the uncontrolled development of the power source.
Germany wrecks its landscape
What follows is a photo video montage of how a beautiful natural landscape near the (once) scenic central German community of Wartenberg was tragically transformed into an industrial eyesore.
The “Vogelsberg” wind project was carried out by a cooperation consisting of utility HessenEnergie, “scrupelous” forest owners and the community of Wartenberg.
The video posted on YouTube starts by showing a once idyllic scenery the area offered before the wind project came along and stamped it out. At about the 1:20 mark we begin to see the destruction inflicted on nature to build the project and then how today it is an almost inhospitable area for much wildlife.
Ruining communities to “save the planet”
It’s a classic example of how people professing to have good intentions, yet lacking in vision and judgement, allow themselves to be hijacked by populist green ideology and end up ruining everything they touch around them. They tell us they will rescue the planet, but only end up ruining their communities. It’s a disgrace.
These “leaders” operate according to true populism. They make promises that sound good to the masses who cannot think one step ahead and see the true consequences.
Vermont’s, Bernie Sanders’s disaster
It all reminds me how a few years back my home state of Vermont (whose source of power was in large part green hydro to begin with) deforested and dynamited its green mountain tops which took nature millions of years to sculpture, and then installed large wind turbines. Also see here and here.

Yes, until these things are turned off, taken down and the land is restored, these turbines will be visual reminders of the disgrace brought upon our environment by all who did not prevent this from happening.
Their names will not be forgotten.

Just shows the political aspirations be all comfortable and interactive in the inner city suburbs destroy our enviroment in the meantime. The old treehuggers would have seen through this. They stood by their morals no matter what not like these new evidently educated greens.
Not all the old tree huggers could/can see beyond the hype and false aspirations of money hungry fools except for some but only when its too late, some others do stand up for the environment especially when the destruction is in their own back yards. For instance here in Australia the old tree hugger who started the ‘Greens’ political party here has decided turbines are no good on a Tasmanian Island. He resides in Tasmania.
The hype created by media thugs is in part to blame for people being misled as to the true purpose for these turbines to be thrust into rich environmental areas – money – money is the root of all evil and there is no doubt about it in respect to this industries hold on Governments and some people.
They are not educated or appear not to be, all you have to do is assess the warbling of that little girl who just sailed across from USA to Europe and is reported as having said ‘see it can be done’ or words to that effect relating to sailing rather than flying. Well maybe someone should give her a history book to read so she can be educated as to how travel used to be done years ago and maybe she needs to be educated as to how without the use of reliable energy sources much of mans achievements in areas such as medicine would never have been made. We would not even have the knowledge and understanding of the many different genetic differences in human beings and animals, we would not know of the loss of many species around the world. We only have the societies we have today because of the advancements electricity brought and that electricity was not reliant on a natural phenomena – the weather – to achieve what we have achieved – without it we would still be nations of surfs and masters where females are not considered capable of being educated.
Destruction of our environments in the way described in the above article and video’s is nothing less than Government sanctioned environmental damaged for the sake of garnering money. There is nothing environmentally plausible about what is happening – no one who sanctions such destruction can have any feeling for the environment or the earths for humanities future health.
If you or I went out and blew up a forest or a field we would find ourselves in prison or heavily fined. Yet these people can get away with it because they are following Planning Regulations which allow them to do it and these are usually Regulations specially designed for this industry.
It has to stop, but before it can we have to take charge of the media and make them answerable for the false claims they persist in promoting.
Thank goodness for some who have a conscience like STT who stand tall and proud and shout the truth out loud and clear and hopefully those who can change the Regulations are educated sufficiently well to be able to thrash seeds of truth from stalks of delusion.
