Enraged Eco-Fascists Plan to Crush All Opposition to Wind & Solar Rollout

Already condescending and dictatorial, the bureaucracy pushing wind and large-scale and scale solar has gone full fascist. The class that lead the charge for crony capitalists treat rural communities as roadkill, which is why those communities are fighting back, for all they’re worth.

Rural and regional Australia is very eager to support Peter Dutton’s policy for a nuclear-powered future not least because it avoids carpeting millions of acres with solar panels and spearing tens of thousands more of these things across Australia’s productive agricultural heartland; it also avoids thousands of kilometres of high voltage transmission lines and towers which, with nuclear plants centrally located on the same sites where coal-fired power is being generated, become entirely unnecessary.

The hostility is palpable, and understandably so: decent, hard-working people have been played for dupes by crony capitalists and their enablers for way too long.

Hence the move by the climate industrial complex to crush all opposition, wherever it might rear its troublesome head.

As Eric Worrall outlines below, the eco-fascists have no shame and they know no bounds.

“It will take leadership from the top, with aggressive goals.”

Peter Dutton’s nuclear power push does not address the urgency of the climate crisis we now find ourselves in

Temperatures are rising much faster than anticipated. We must respond with the following rapid solutions

Yet, with all this in place, it is surprising to see that the transition to solar and wind power in Australia has flatlined. …

The problem? Barriers.

The second category consists of social-license barriers such as landowner resistance, traditional owner negotiations, heritage requirements, and the outsized focus on protecting local biodiversity irrespective of global biodiversity benefits.

Combined, these systemic permitting barriers and the very tangible social license barriers constitute a “wicked problem” that will not be overcome with anything less than an intense and ambitious effort from the highest levels of government, supported by industry and communities.

What can governments do?

The goal must be to lower the barriers urgently. Governments must lead.

It will take leadership from the top, with aggressive goals.

Biodiversity regulations should also be overhauled to take into account the global benefit to biodiversity, not just the local benefit. …

Dr Finkel, the reason a heavy handed approach to the renewable social contract won’t work is power line companies need landowner cooperation.

Thousands of miles of incredibly valuable copper and steel support structures are a tempting target for thieves. It would be unimaginably expensive to mount constant patrols of power lines. Power companies need landowners to call the police when they spot metal thieves, not make them tea and biscuits.

Preventing metal theft without the cooperation of landowners would be a truly wicked problem. In Africa thieves have learned a new trick. They don’t steal the copper wires, which would trigger an instant SWAT team response, they steal the pylon support structures. That way the line keeps running, there is no immediate alarm on the control board, and the thieves are long gone by the time the next storm or strong wind knocks the power pylons over.

So quite apart from the outrage and distress ramming approvals through by force would do to society, there is the very practical problem that a society which has lost its cohesion cannot protect its energy infrastructure. Just look at the situation in South Africa if you want evidence of what could happen to Australia, were the Aussie government to go full fascist with energy infrastructure approvals.

And this is not even considering the greens who actually care about the environment, who would probably be out there dynamiting construction equipment if they lost access to legal means to stop the wholesale destruction of their beloved wilderness regions.

Obviously WUWT does not condone or encourage violence or sabotage – but you don’t have to be a genius to predict the likely consequences of trampling people’s rights, especially in sparsely policed rural regions of Australia. I’ve been to the countryside meetings and seen the anger, the only thing preventing that anger from boiling over right now is rural people are clinging to the hope there are civilised, legal means for them to redress the wrongs which are being done to them. Crush that hope at your peril.

  1. I wonder if the use of massive ‘fans’ across the globe in huge numbers is having an effect on global temperatures?

If you turn on a blender with the blades at the bottom what happens – the mix begins at the bottom and mixed stuff rises to the top and continues to mix.

Add to this the heating of local environments using large scale solar plants and what do you get! You get land being heated added to air being mixed with a blender which creates a heated environment from bottom to top.

The world is encased in an atmosphere which does not allow the hot air to escape so it just keeps heating up. Easy stop the fans and fields of solar panels and wait for the mix to return to something like normal.

At the same time creating an energy source using nuclear energy which will NOT add heat to the environment and we will quickly see benefits as our environments become more conducive to the species of plants, animals and creatures of the oceans as well as humans beings being able to live in peace and tranquility once again.

    1. NuClear power need to be constantly cooled. NuClear adds heat like all of these electricity creation systems. They place them by lakes, rivers, or on the ocean for this reason. It’s rather comical that the climate nuts keep pushing for electricity based on the failed claim of boiling oceans thus more motors, and more computers, which also produce heat same as you mention with solar panel farms. In fact computers generate tonnes and tonnes of heat especially these server farms. They air condition them thus producing heat but keep in mind air conditioners also cool the atmosphere, no one seems to mention nor measure that. Regarding “The world is encased in an atmosphere which does not allow the hot air to escape so it just keeps heating up” well actually it’s said “space” is about minus 456 F degrees offering plenty of constant reliable cooling for billions of years that will never fluctuate. The heat “escapes” just fine. There is not a border wall above that would be more insulative. It’s air, gasses, moving constantly. Even if the furthest stretch outside our atmosphere if it was a solid gas wall it would be frigid cold from space affecting gasses below, still cooling our Earth. On our surface sometimes heat gets trapped to a degree, a few miles above, we have no wind hot days, eventually cool space makes it’s way through that. Sun provides heat lamp. Climate changes based on convection of these two forces and moisture. That’s all that does anything really other than minor changes near surfaces. Go NuClear! Cheap. Efficient. Climate change is so miniscule it’s not even like a pebble from a child’s aquarium being thrown into a lake, no ripples. The conversation should be thrown at the climate nuts to become more concerned about the effects of the heat generated in space by all the satellites and space ships, oh wait, that’s right Don Petis from NASA told us they “destroyed the technology of going to the moon” that’s why they haven’t gone back to the movie set, then watch their befuddled look on their faces trying to process climate change in space caused by man.

  2. This all rests on the proposition that the climate’s temperature is rising catastrophically and that even a small rise is a catastrophe. Read Steven Koonin’s “Unsettled?” He was a Professor of physics, Vice President, and Provost at Caltech, then Deputy Undersecretary for Science in the Obama Administration Department of Energy. He’s now the University Professor at NYU. He’s not a crony capitalist or a politically-motivated ideologue. Also read my book “Where Will We Get Our Energy?” Everything quantified. No vague handwaving. 350 bibliographic citations so you can check that I didn’t just make up stuff.
