Public Assembly Information Sheet
The Reckless Renewable Rally, Martin Place (between Phillip and Macquarie Streets – Map attached), Sydney at 11 am Thursday 30 November 2023.
The location in Martin Place is above Martin Place Railway Station.
The motorways into the city are very busy in the morning so for those travelling by coach we suggest the following:
From the north and northwest – Coach drop off at Hornsby Railway Station. Train to Central then train from Central to Martin Place.
From the west – Coach drop off at Penrith Railway Station. Train to Central then train from Central to Martin Place.
From the south and southwest – Coach drop off at Liverpool Railway Station. Train to Central then train from Central to Martin Place.
There are also interurban and country trains to Central.
We have groups from the Coast, inland NSW, Queensland, Victoria and possibly Tasmania and South Australia.
See you there.

On behalf all of those who are fighting against unreliable, unaffordable, environmentally destructive wind, solar, BESS and HV transmission lines.

There are multitudes of 20 and 30-something women in the US who are so eaten up with ‘climate change’ that they refuse to bear any children. The stark reality is that it’s going to take more than protests to put and end to this Liberal-driven insanity.
Are you coming to Canberra? If so when as I’d love to join from GregLloyd.
How exciting to see people gather in Sydney for the Rally today! It reminds me of the first National Rally against wind development that we helped organise and attended in Canberra, years ago! The best part was the number of people from all over Australia that attended and also the fact we snookered Get Up who wanted to use our site—I said no , not realising who they were( they were newly created). We have learnt so much over our 18 year fight ! We are still fighting for our rights. Power to the people!! Pat.

I cannot be there in person but will be in my heart. This nightmare cannot continue, these forms of intermittent energy production and minimal storage content are destroying our environments and way of life faster than anything else. These developers are being given rights over our lives, they are being given OUR money to assist in this destruction. They have fooled Governmental bodies AND members of parliament, all for nothing.
These turbines etc all require replacement and massive amounts of maintenance. When the land has been covered by turbines, batteries and solar panels that are falling apart and no longer operating, where are they going to go = in land fill probably, but where will new ones be erected – they cannot put new turbines on top of old foundations as new ones are bigger than old ones and require larger foundations so more land is required.
Yes they are now going out to sea but what about the ocean environment – yes we do not live out there but there are creatures and oceanic environments that do, all of which are being harmed and the more turbines the more harm.
When will those that are meant to protect us and the environments on earth going to accept they have got it wrong AND STOP THE NIGHTMARE.
Yes I will be at the demonstration in Sydney – not in person but in heart to hopefully see justice and common sense prevail.
Maybe if this does not cause those who can stop this to think more clearly and stop it then perhaps what is needed is a world wide day of morning for the environment and lives of all creatures on earth.
